“I hired Chef Ooms for an important event that I was hosting and the quality of food and service exceeded expectations. Throughout the entire process, Chef Michael was on top of communication, dietary needs, menu creation and also able to adjust for numbers. The presentation and quality of all of the canapes and mains were out of this world. We all appreciated the flavours, unique foraging and melding of local flavours were the talk of the party and into the next day. His presence definitely made the event. “We Booked our 4th experience with the amazing chef Michael Ooms. WOW! Is to say the least. From the start to finish our taste buds were exploding with flavour! To start it off we had a decadent and beautiful plated tuna amuse Bouche. Then moved to the perfectly seared pork belly and scallops. For the main course a sous vide lamb which was out of this world, and cooked to perfection! To finish it off we had a chocolate strawberry mouse which was in my option probably one of the best deserts I’ve ever had. Always with a perfect attitude, friendly experience and an overall great experience. I have already booked him for my next experience. 5 stars highly recommended. “My husband Dylan and I hired Chef Michael Ooms to cater our wedding of 100 people. He created a menu for us with a fabulous selection of food choices including ones that were vegetarian and vegan. Our wedding reception took place in the early afternoon where this menu was showcased. Some of our favorites were the pulled pork sliders, the prawn ceviche cones, his charcuterie board that offered an assortment of meats and cheeses as well as his breads & spreads. The second event was my son’s graduation celebration. It was family style for 22 people, it was outstanding! The organization, presentation and of course the taste of everything was top-notch. I wasn’t sure I would be able to relax and enjoy the experience in my own home but Chef Mike made sure everything was taking care of from start to finish, I didn’t lift a finger and the kitchen was left cleaner then before he arrived. We had a wonderful time basking in the sun out on the patio area while Michael brought out some of the most amazing creations in a timely manner.
